Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Nether brick fence gates should exist. Here's why.

    My thoughts exactly.

Fence gates being "wood-only" is mostly histortical. Minecraft already has non-wood fences and many non-wood equivalents like iron and copper doors and trapdoors. Fence gates are a function, not a material rule. In the Nether, a fireproof nether brick fence gate would be both more logical and more visually consistent.

Dark oak fence gates are the closest stand-in for nether brick fence gates, but they're slightly too dark and have a wood pattern instead of the solid brick look.  They're also mined with an axe and can burn-so if your gate burns, animals or mobs can escape! A proper nether brick fence gate would be fireproof, pickaxe-mined, and visually consistent with nether brick builds.
