I'm here to expand on the mechanics of the daggers being in the game, so it can be used against mobs and players in a fun way.
Crafting;
Crafted with a stick and a material on top of the stick in the crafting table. Both 2 daggers will be crafted seperatly for decorating purposes, and to give the player to craft a cheap weapon in a 2x2 craftind grid.
Combat ;
It would inflict minimal damage while being significantly faster than the sword. When 2 daggers are placed on the main hand and secondary hand, its damage per second is increased. However it wouldn't deal almost no knockback (it doesn't send entities backwards).
Its damage per tier would go like this;
Wood: 1 Gold: 1
Stone: 1.5 Copper: 1.5
Iron: 2
Diamond: 2.5
Netherite: 3
Special abilities;
The daggers can deal increased damage to entities that has their backs turned. In a way in which the dagger weilder isn't in the peripheral view of the entity.
Exclusive enchantment;
Its exclusive enchantment would be called "Rush". It would increase the weapon's speed by 5 percent for 4 seconds until it hits a limit and then starts speeding up again. The percentage would increase by 5 in every level (it has 3 levels)
(Important remark)
Since its gonna be a quick weapon the entities receiving damage cooldown will need to be removed and have no cooldown. Instead the determined amount of damage per second will be attributed to the one causing it (fists, weapons, environment) and not the ones receiving it (entities).
