Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dispensing Spears should make them stab forward from the Dispenser.

When a spear is placed in a dispenser and then the dispenser is activated the spear would stab out from the face of the dispenser damaging anything in front of it. The spear would stay out as long as there is an active redstone signal effecting the dispenser and after would retract back into the dispenser for later use.

This would both make sense and be incredibly useful for creating mob farms, traps, and decoration around the Minecraft world.

    No currently existing dispenser function remains functioning as long as it stays powered, its a block that works on pulses. It could be made so spears are the exception, but I think it would be better if it aligned and was instant use, stab out then retreat. If you want constant damage, you can attach it to a redstone clock

    I think stabbing out then back in would work better like the other guy, but awesome idea, Mojang needs to add this

    If Mojang ever decided to update the Jungle Temple structure, then this idea has great potential to compliment it.
