Part X expands Minecraft’s villager system with deeper professions, cooperative progression, and new guild mechanics that reward sustained player–village relationships without breaking current trade balance.
Advanced Professions:
Existing jobs gain late-tier unlocks tied to village tier (from Part IX):
• Master Farmer – offers biome-specific crops, seed bundles, and high-yield compost.
• Forgewright – upgrades Toolsmith/Weaponsmith, allowing reforges that slightly improve durability or mining speed (no power creep).
• Runelayer Librarian – sells “utility runes” (non-magical) used to mark trails, reveal short-range beacons, or tag storage.
Guild System:
Villages can found 1–2 guilds once they reach Tier III:
• Explorer’s Guild – generates local exploration tasks that reward loot maps, trail markers, and supply packs.
• Artisan Guild – offers decorative blueprints, structural “kits,” and rare trade goods.
• Guard Guild – recruits player-trained militia NPCs to defend against raids/night threats.
Guilds strengthen but don’t replace existing mechanics—players choose tasks but are never forced.
Player Influence:
Helping a village raises “Standing,” unlocking cosmetic banners, upgraded housing plots, and lower trade prices for that village only. No global buffs.
Part X brings meaningful, non-overpowered progression to villages by rewarding cooperation instead of exploitation. Part XI coming next.
