Unique tree shapes: Trees could have different forms compared to their overworld counterparts — for example, taller, twisted, or with thinner variants — to add more visual variety to the biome.
-
New incentives to explore: Introducing items exclusive to the biome (such as a new music disc, armor trims, or a vision-related item) would give players a reason to visit it more often)
-
Exclusive structures: A biome-specific structure could generate here, where these items can be found — perhaps a dungeon or a small cabin hidden within the forest.
-
Abandoned mansions: Woodland Mansions that spawn in this biome could appear abandoned, similar to zombie villages. It wouldn’t make sense for pillagers — who fear the Creaking — to live here. These mansions could feature interiors overrun by vegetation, roots breaking through the floors, and maybe a Creaking lurking inside.
-
Improved Creaking mechanics: Adding new behaviors to make them more challenging — such as higher damage, more speed, or climbing abilities — would prevent players from cheesing them by pillar-jumping or trapping them in a hole.
-
Adjusted mob spawning: Regular hostile mobs could either spawn less frequently or not at all. As a personal suggestion, it would be cool if only witches and endermen spawned in this biome.
-
Enhanced atmosphere: Increasing the fog density or making nights darker would boost the tension and make players think twice before entering this eerie biome.
