I think Minecraft could benefit with some discreet magic system :)

I think Minecraft could benefit from subtle bits of magic or spells. The game already contains magic such as enchanting, and potions, but these are not reliable. Magic doesnt have to be anything major, but rather simple spells or tomes designed to help with repetitive tasks or to make playthroughs a little more varied. For balance, tomes could have durability, cooldown, or consume enchanting level per use. Some spells that fit perfectly into minecraft could be tomes that boost crop growth, allow players to change the weather or make traversing a little bit more varied.

    If you want something that boosts crop growth then it first has to be slow in the first place. Changing the weather yeah... if the player was herobrine. As for travel many movement options exist many even underused sure there could always be more, but adding tomes just for that (since the other 2 reasons make no sense) is not the play i would say
