So the current way of gaining a reasonable amount of xp just isn’t fun, you stop whatever build, exploration, mining, etc you were doing and slash away at a mobfarm to slowly grind up to level 30.
What if instead you would gain xp FOR doing those tasks naturally in an amount thats feasible, allowing each type of playstyle to enjoy the system?
For example: placing blocks would award a tiny amount of xp (about 0.1 each) thats meant to slowly build towards your next enchant table interaction, want xp? Have fun building a mega structure, kill 2 birds with 1 stone!
Exploring? Every structure you find now gives you xp depending on the rarity(200-500), and opening chests found inside also gives xp(30)
Enjoy mining? Fishing? Farming? Smelting? Basically every action should now have an increase in interacting with that activity that gives xp on a level comparable to a mob farm, the current system TRIES to do that but it just ends up rewarding mob farms because every other system either doesn’t at all or gives very low amounts of xp, with a few stat changes and more sources xp would be less tedious to collect, making it fitting of the name “experience” since they now let you gain it from just expriencing the game!
