End armor idea that solves durability problem

I have an idea for a new armor type. It would be made using a new ore that spawns specifically in the end. The gimmick behind the armor is it has the same stats as netherite but it has a way higher durability. This would solve the problem of players constantly needing to make new tools and enchant them once the old ones break (which can get very annoying). The armor could be crafted in a similar way to netherite where as you would need a netherite set and a smithing table to make the end armor but personally I think it should just be crafted normally because the proses to get it would already be tedious enough for the average player. The point of the armor is to solve the durability problem for late game players. This would also be a great addition to a larger end update and it would add that extra layer of progression some players need to avoid burnout. P.S. If u ever add a new end wood type u should make it be purple as we dont have a purple wood type. Thank you and please consider this Mojang I think its a fantastic idea. Dont leave it up to a addon…

Could be cool if it was a durability enhancer to anything that you combine it with. I would also keep the idea of using the smithing template so you can combine it with any other weapon (including any other tier of tools, bows, crossbows, maces and tridents, maybe even armor) but maybe just making the upgrade pretty common to find. This would also give more utility to gold since it's not used because of how little durability it has and this would improve it.
