This has been discussed to the end. But I want to expand on this.
Similar to real life, it would be crafted with 3 gold ingots and 1 copper ingot. This would give you 1 rose gold ingot.
Before people say "Minecraft doesn't need this", Minecraft didn't need copper tools and they were added to cater to a small portion of the survival community and as fan service. This tier of tools, being between iron and diamond, just makes sense. The jump between iron and diamond is abysmal, when the one between stone and iron was anecdotical. This tools cater to a similar audience, people who do not focus on progression and have a hard time getting diamonds.
These tools just make sense. Gold is fast but fragile, so plating it with copper gives it more resistance and damage to weapons albeit at the cost of mining speed. The durability would be of around 500-750. The damage of the weapons would ressemble iron, diamonds should preserve their unique damage profile. Their enchantability would be the second best, better than netherite but worse than gold.
Only master weapon/armor/tool smiths would trade diamond gear (requiring also some diamonds to trade). Expert level trades would be rose gold tier.
The protection of the armor would be superior to iron, but worse than diamond. It would provide some armour thoughness, 4 points in total, 1 per piece.
Iron tools from end cities would be replaced by rose gold ones.
This set just makes sense. Copper made it. This one should too.
