Particles:Translucent air swirls, depending on direction, appear with a frequency of 47%.
Player movement:
Standing still - demolition on 0.6 blocks/sec in the direction of the wind.
At jump- demolition on 1.2 blocks/sec.
When moving against the wind— speed is reduced by 25%.
When moving downwind— 15% acceleration.
Additionally:
Arrows, fireworks, tridents, snowballs and other thrown objects are slightly deflected.
The banners and leaves are fluttering.
The weather vanes rotate in the direction of the wind.
Boat sails, banners and leaves begin to move.
Sounds:a light whistling breath of wind adding to the atmosphere.
Storm
Description:strong wind, sky darker by 27%.
Particles:dense wind currents, frequency 83%.
Player movement:
Standing still - demolition on 2.2 blocks/sec.
At walking- demolition on 1.4 blocks/sec.
At running- demolition on 0.7 blocks/sec.
At jump- demolition on 3.4 blocks/sec.
Against the wind - strong slowdown.
Downwind - slight acceleration.
Effects:
Torches and candles can fade away(10% chance every 5 seconds).
Small mobs(chickens, bats) may hover or drift a little.
Sailboats receive a speed bonus when moving downwind.
Wind is now a dynamic system
After a few windy days in a row (2–4)with a chance 23% may begin a storm.
The wind always has direction, which changes every 1-3 game days.
When the wind changes, the sky “blinks” slightly, and the weather vane unfolds.
The longer windy weather lasts, the higher the chance of a storm.
