Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Copper Rails

Copper Rails should be added as part of the minecart update. They can be the opposite of powered rails. As the update suggests to increase minecart acceleration the copper rail can be used to slow down your minecarts. This will let people be able to speed up their minecarts to quick speeds but allow them to slow them down before they reach their destination without having sudden stops.

    That could depend on the oxidation state. More oxidation = slower minecart travel

    As opposed to powered rails without a redstone signal, which instantly stops a minecarts momentum (which should stay as is, with some added effects like a collision sound and partical effect). This rail behavior could be presented through spark particles and a wheel grind sound.
