Since the new spear is too heavy to throw maybe adding throwable ninja stars and kunai can spice up the combat in minecraft a little bit. Stacking up to a 16 count, ninja stars can do 1 damage starting from wood all the way up to 7 damage at netherite. Wood, gold, and stone ninja stars can only be thrown once before they break almost like an egg and snowball. Copper stars should able to be thrown 3 times before they break. Iron, diamond, and netherite stars should always be retrievable. A stack of ninja stars could also be dipped in a cauldron like arrows to give different potion effects. Same with kunai aswell, they should also be able to be dipped adding potion effect. Potion effect on kunai can be used 1 time on wooden kunai all the way up to 7 times on netherite kunai. Potion usage depletes along with durability everytime you hit or throw it. Kunai’s main purpose is to function almost like the trident but shorter and has a quicker charge time for throwing. It serves as a melee weapon and a craftable throwable you can retrieve. Kunai’s could also be combined with gunpowder and paper to make explosive kunai that can make the potion in the tip shortly linger causing a temporary lingering cloud after it has detonated. Being splashed by a potion or entering a linger cloud while holding a kunai can change effect(changes only if hit with splash) or replenish its potion uses so players don’t always need a cauldron. F.Y.I Kunai aren’t stackable.
