Use for copper and resin

I believe that resin and copper should have more uses.

Resin:

  • Resin wood: This takes longer to break (x1.5), can be scraped off (1-4 secs w/ pick) and can't be burnt. Being almost invisible (slight orange tint), this is really good for builds with fire or lava as it can no longer burn down. To craft: 1 resin, 1 plank.

Copper: As copper is a strong conductor, it should be used in redstone items.

  • 1. The splitter. When redstone runs through its input, its signals split (rounded) into one, two or three depending how many outputs are available. This can be really useful for splitting data evenly in redstone builds, further compacting them. To craft: Copper in middle row and top middle slot, quartz in corners and iron in rest.
  • 2. The voltmeter. When powered, a screen shows the signal, which is useful for people to know what signal it currently is (pun intended.) Like comparators, no signal is lost inputting. To craft: Glass in middle, copper in sides and quartz in corners.
  • 3. Copper wire. Copper wire acts like redstone, but both have pros and cons. Copper wire can be waterlogged without breaking it, but it can only carry a signal of 8. Repeaters also work underwater, so redstone in the ocean now works. Copper wire is also harder to break, but you need a splitter to split the signals. Redstone can have a signal strength of 15, can split but are weak for breaking and don't work underwater. To craft: 3 copper in the middle row, and two glass at middle top & bottom.

    These are decent ideas, especially the copper wire.

    The problem is that redstone isn't electricity, so combining copper and redstone doesn't make sense. Copper should be useful for other mechanisms tho, or maybe add tin to have bronce and then make mechanisms with it (like in real life)

    The resin idea is good tho, I like it
