    They should be able to carry 2 double chests. This would help with inventory management and be an alternative to the wagon we've been wanting. 

    They should have armor and a knockback similar to the enchantment that tosses away any mob that collides with them, letting them become a TANK (thereby fitting in the mayhem part of mobs of mayhem).

    If they can hold a total of three players, then we have the count up from horse, camel, to happy ghast.

    The sniffing rewards, that's nice! Maybe they should dig up sherds and trims in their respective structures? 

    As for more plants, they should dig up an ancient sapling! Also weren't sniffer vines going to be a thing?

    I think your ideas are incredible, bro. I like what you're proposing to add the ability to carry three players. That would be a good implementation so we could have different mobs with the possibility of carrying more players. I think what you're contributing would be a great improvement for the great sniffer tank, haha.

    I've heard of so many potential upgrades for the sniffer, but this is the best by far!  It allows you to ride the sniffer while adding actual functionality even without lots of speed!  Not to mention how crazy all the theorists are going to be over the new lore implications!

    sniffer detecting ruins would be surely cool help, maybe it could detect suspicious sand/gravel in general, which could then in return generate rarely out of main structures too with some general biom-based loot

    that be done by riding sniffer is also nice idea, it being awfully slow mob also makes it not broken, as you would likely have to carry sniffer to area you want to investigate and check there, not using it as OP meta transport method, hence not limiting use of horses or elytra and happy ghast, in fact, it would improve use of horses/ghasts as they are best way to transport sniffer to place, rather than elytra many people consider too good, sniffer could also not be directly controlled like horse, but rather by lure on stick like strider/pig, maybe seeds sniffers eat, fishing rod and honey comb (so seeds are supposedly inside of wax to hold together on rod, which isnt as easy as with carrot or shroom, it also little more ties more mechanics together)

    sniffer could not look for suspicious blocks/treasures/structures unless fed, if fed, it would only look for seeds (when not ridden), if oyu would feed it some specific item, it would then work as this "cold/hot" detector, it could be fed by seeds it is bred by, or if rod would be used to control it, right-clicking, like is speed for strider, could activate sniffing for structures for while at cost of durability

    I also think you should be able to give them certain blocks and they will find them like an ominous banner to find a pillager outpost or a wood type or flower to find a specific biome
