Why Minecraft doesn't add new food

I've been playing Minecraft for a long time and I've often wondered, “Why aren't new dishes being added to Minecraft?”

While many new armor, weapons, and decorations have been added, no new dishes have been introduced. “When was the last update that added new dishes?”

We need new foods and recipes for new adventures. Please add new dishes to Minecraft

    Even with the foods that exist right now, they could add new dishes. It would help with role playing.
