Make a toggle for snow layer piling. Having the snow pile when it snows is still a nice feature, I’m not dissing that, but I think it could use a little bit of tweaking. When I’m building in my world and it starts snowing, I have to either run away so the snow does pile up too much and return later, or try to work through it which is incredibly annoying to do when it builds up and now I can’t walk freely anymore. I think maybe it piling up once naturally is enough as it would still add depth, but it going up to the height of slabs and even full blocks is way too much. Especially looking at it on trees, and it’s annoying to shovel off of everything. Minecraft is a free roam game, so I think making every biome fun to live in would be good. Some aren’t favourable, like the Nether, but if you want to make your base there, you know what you’re getting into already. The snow biome you might just want to make a winter wonderland, but it shouldn’t be made irritating or make your builds less nice to look at because the snow is piling up. I’d rather be swarmed by mobs than shovel everything around me every hour if not less. Plus, if it’s a toggle, then it’s not completely removed, and it fits a player’s preference as well!
