Can we make it so you can craft name tags?

I am playing minecraft and have just realized that my llamas need name tags so they don't despawn. If I go to the mines or anywhere far away they will despawn. Can you make it so I can craft name tags?

    Yeah! Why aren't they craftable? They are almost completely useless, if they were craftable it would not be overpowered.
