I would like to suggest a new design and behavior concept for the Warden to enhance its fear factor and strengthen its connection to the Ancient City and Ancient Builders lore.
Idea Summary:
Instead of spawning multiple Wardens, there should only be one Warden in the world at any time.
If the Warden is not killed but loses track of the player, it should sink back underground and travel undetected to the next triggered Sculk Shrieker.
Killing it will not be permanent. After a few days, it returns through the Sculk network, stronger and more aware of past encounters.
This creates a sense of true dread and uniqueness, making the Warden feel like an ancient guardian instead of a repeated mob.
This idea can support future updates about the Ancient Builders, the Orb of Dominance, or even new structures beyond the Ancient City.
Optional Additions:
A unique "core" room in the Ancient City where the Warden respawns from.
Connected lore via Disc Fragments or mysterious carvings.
The Warden grows stronger after every encounter.
This would elevate the Warden from a simple boss to a terrifying myth within the world of Minecraft.
