Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

petrified logs could be underground, maybe swamps could have higher concentrations of that, maybe more often near coal ore veins, or near and part of some archeological sites, it could be uncovered from suspicious sand/gravel too
could be striped or crafted into planks like regular wood with their own color palette, gray would fit, however to mine it, pickaxe would be needed and it would not burn, for those intends and purposes, it would be stone
door, trapdoor, upcoming shelves in new design could be there, pressure plates, planks, stairs and all regular wooden blocks
lacking boats since it would be stone and as other non-burnable wood types, having boat would confuse players into thinking it is "lava boat"
no saplings, unless we would have some magical way to petrify and yet preserve growing abilities of those
renew-ability could be justified trough villager or traveling merchant trades, if rascal would be ever added, it could be his reward/trade for player (however it would be implemented)
