adding on from 13100915263117 and 360074694512, ive always thought a kintsugi-like effect in game for pottery was sorely missing. the big decorated pots are amazing, but it often feels like theyre too one-dimensional in looking like a big flower pot, unless its being used in a specific redstone build. in addition, repairing at an anvil has always felt horrendous due to the exp cost and material item - where its almost always better to just make a new one rather than attempt to repair it.
in this, i suggest two things: cracked flower pots, as well as cracked pottery sherds, that are only obtainable from archaeology. to make these cracked variants more enticing, adding dyed variants to all pottery and alongside a generic "repair powder" (crafted with something simple, such as an iron nugget and a gold nugget) can make some extremely unique designs - such as a black variant with the kintsugi effect being amazing for something like a bastion-like design.
so the repair powder isnt a one-trick-pony item, allowing it to be used either in the inventory (like stacking multiple tools together) to slightly repair the item, or using it at an anvil to get a lot of durability back (but taking durability off the anvil) makes big projects much more feasible for the average player, without having to constantly go to an exp farm every time their pick gets low.
