    Automatic Sorting Systems  potential Issues:

    Oversimplifies redstone mechanics:

    • Mojang likes players learning and building contraptions, not bypassing them.

    • Built-in filters could devalue hopper chains, item sorters, and water streams.

    • UI and logic complexity:

      • How do you “set” what goes into a chest? New UI? Signs? That breaks the simplicity of vanilla blocks.

      • Performance risk:

        • If every chest is running an auto-filter system, it could hurt server/client performance, especially in large bases.

Player Journal (logs death, structures, etc.)

Minecraft doesn’t track what structures you’ve discovered or how far you’ve walked (outside stats menu). This would be new backend data tracking.

Logging exact coords of everything might make maps, landmarks, and player memory feel less useful.

ow would you view/edit it? Needs a clean but flexible interface.

    engine-Powered Minecart (no powered rails)

    Breaks core minecart mechanics:

    • Powered rails and redstone are a core part of minecart transport. Making that obsolete is a major design shift.

    • Directional control (arrow keys) is not vanilla-like:

      • Mojang avoids direct vehicle steering outside of mounts and boats. This would feel more like a mod than vanilla.

      • Balance concerns:

        • Players could use this for unintended cheese (escaping mobs, AFK farms, or bypassing terrain easily).
