Earth jungles are abundant with fruit and food of all kinds. There's a reason humanity evolved and thrives here. And yet, Minecraft Jungles have only inedible Cocoa Beans and European Cookies as food. I think the jungle would benefit from having edible fruit and tropical food of its own - the colorful mango! But a fruit to rival the apple should have a use...
The wibble-wobbling Mango Pudding of Hong Kong fame would make for a really fun use for mangoes, and is similar to the tall flan, an almost cubic dessert that would fit in Minecraft nicely. Currently our sole bouncy block is sticky Slime, and an edible and height-adjustable block that wobbles when you step on it would be really cool! Players have done so much with Cake, imagine what they could do with a trampoline-like dessert?
Mangoes
Mangoes are a new fruit that drops from Jungle Leaves like Apples. They can be eaten or used to make a Pudding Block (Mango, Sugar, Egg, & Milk)
Pudding
Pudding is the main cooked form of Mango as a food item. Pudding can be placed as a block, and eaten up to 3 times, shortening its height as it’s eaten.
Pudding is bouncy like Slime Blocks but aren't sticky at all! Pudding can also be placed near other Pudding Blocks to make a larger Pudding Block formation, amplifying the strength of the bounce. Whenever a Player steps on a Pudding it will wobble back and forth, and when they bounce off it, it will be squish and bounce back up. Pudding can also be stacked for more powerful bounces.
