Why add the End Wetlands?
The End Update drastically changed and updated the End, making it weirder and wackier but that was nearly 10 years ago. Compared to modern Minecraft (esp. post-1.16), it feels unloved and too empty, and it has gone from weird to mundane. Adding a new biome and End-exclusive features could help incentivize Players to return to and explore further in this bizarre and eerie dimension!
End Wetlands
The End Wetlands is an Outer End biome made up of pools, waterfalls, and floating rivers of an End-exclusive liquid. Glowy Endrils (from tendrils) grow from the Endstone on all sides like a bizarro grass that tries to grab you.
"End Liquid"
The End liquid is a bizarre stellar glowy liquid that flows upwards into the sky, and pouring it will cause it to go up, except in the End, where it floats and ripples up and down. Maybe to make things really weird, if an entity enters the End liquid, they will be teleported to the exact opposite end of the liquid, traveling past everything in between, and will be unable to teleport again until exiting the liquid. Think of the possibilites!
Possible identities for the "End Liquid" could be a starry "Astraliquid", or perhaps a glowy viscous purple "Purphlegm" or "Floatflegm," in keeping with the End's mollusk theme.
Nair
The Nair (Latin for "nail") is a new weird and dangerous weather event common to the End Wetlands. It is Rain reversed, consisting of End Liquid being sucked from the ground upwards, taking the Player with it!
