Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ghasts will not fire ball you if you are holding a dried ghast

It would really enhance the Ghast storyline, if you’re holding a dried Ghast, Nether Ghasts won’t shoot fireballs at you, because they recognize you're helping one of their own.

    Alternatively, if a ghast spots you close to a dried ghast block, it will stop shooting and just stare; if you break the dried ghast block, it will leave. 
    Additionally, Happy Ghast smiles because it has a 32*32 resolution. You can make the ghast smile as it departs when it witnesses you breaking and picking up the ghast block on your way out.

    Or maybe if you could put a dried ghast on the helmet armor slot like a carved pumpkin, then they wouldn't attack.

    Eh not really sure. The nether ghasts are not happy ones so them trying to indiscriminately kill you is more fitting to their current situation.
