Make newer Minecraft not like "Heavily Modded"

I know that recent Minecraft snapshot that introduce a lot of new features such as"Variation of non-pet mob" ,"New texture on eggs" and "Waypoints".It just feel that MInecraft is a completely feeling that wasn't like past updates like 1.14 , 1.16 and 1.18(Or even vanilla-like).So can these new features into few option that don't force everyone to use them.

    i myself am tired of the "just use a texturepack/go back to old versons/download a mod to fix it" retoric people have. bedrock players cannot use any texture pack they want on a whim (and a certian ui system doesnt even support texture packs.) bedrock players cannot go back to old versions. and bedrock players cannot have mods, closest we have is a cash-grab system.

    tldr is yes, we need options in game for visuals. and not making your pc fans go VWRRRRRRRRRRRRRr
