when 2 people ride in a boat they can work together to make the boat move faster

    actually, the water keeps the boat floating either way, so a second person to help row would definitely help. Also, Steve in Minecraft can sprint while carrying hundreds of cubic meters of gold in his back pocket. (roughly 19.3 metric tons, each. Adds up to about 55757.7 metric tons.)
