bellows are an odd idea i had thought of to make furnaces, blast furnaces and smokers work faster, not too much of course, but slightly faster for those whom who choose to make bellows... or find them.
Introduction To Them
bellows are a completely solid, single block you place in the direction of a furnace, blast furnace or smoker by about 1 to 2 blocks away from it. you use your Place-Block button whilst looking at bellows directly to trigger them and then they release a small white cloud, similar to the campfire cloud and they speed up the process of cooking whatever is in the furnace, etc... by a small amount for a few seconds. (About 8 Seconds)
they also need a short crank up before activating again. which takes a second or two, otherwise, you will hear it whistle instead of making a loud wooooooossh sound.
What's The Point To Them?
Well, they are mostly a decorative block for the most part, with some functionality of course as listed in the introduction. its meant as more of a niche block for players to stumble upon in the occasional blacksmith's chest in a village or to make of your own. more for the fun of it.
However...
Don't let standing there get you down, bellows come with a twist to the functions, when a piston pushes the bellows from behind either forwards or backwards it cranks the bellows and activates it automatically so you don't have to stand there and use it to melt some sand into glass a bit faster.
Hopefully, an odd idea like this might be added in. One day.
