    I agree with everything posted here. The goat just feels so lackluster when compared to some of the other passive mobs in the game. There's no unique drop to cause someone to seek them out yet (I imagine the goat horn will change this when it's finished) but they also don't provide any food. Like you said, as of right now they serve no purpose besides aesthetics and all of these changes are great potential solutions. I actually wouldn't mind them becoming the most valuable passive mob over cows since they can only be found in mountains where as cows spawn nearly everywhere. Plus mutton is inherently less valuable than cooked beef so it balances out pretty well.

    Thanks, and yeah. Mutton isn’t a very valuable meat, so it’d be pretty balanced for them to drop some. Have them drop like one mutton each so they’re less worth farming than other animals and more for emergency situations. The idea of them having multiple kids at once which was temporarily in the beta was kinda cool and unique too but could be better on an animal like pigs which realistically have large amounts of babies, balancing the fact they don’t drop any leather.
