I feel like the Devs are already putting in a ton of work in to both parts of caves and cliffs and I feel like they shouldn't have to deal with the archeology update for part 2 of the caves and cliffs with everything else their doing for it, also I feel there are many more capability's for a full scale archeology update and It seems like putting it in to caves and cliffs is just kind of jamming it in to the update and majorly restricting the capability's of the update as well as creating far more work for the Devs as they work on caves and cliffs and try to get it out to the community. For instance some features I was thinking that could be incorporated could be a long needed revamp of dungeons and jungle temples, and possibly the desert temple, while also introducing new temples even. and another idea inspired by something said by cubfan135 is possibly doing more with the standard galactic alphabet. and another thing that could be done is possibly upgrading combat and adventure by possibly making some form of new system for exploration, something could also be done with the cartographer villager were they could sell "quest maps" which could lead the player on an actual quest almost like ocean monument and woodland mansion but a bit more story and structure to it. and adventure could be upgraded by adding new tools to make different experiences while exploring and adventuring. there could also be more done with artifacts by adding more and different types of artifacts aswell.
