Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Connecting minecarts and minecarts with light

Hello!

First, I'll talk about the minecart connectors.

Some people have already talked about this, but I have an idea of how to do it.

With this new update, copper is coming to Minecraft and, I think it would be great to craft minecart connectors with this new ore to join various minecarts. Maybe we could craft them using chains too, or even mixing the chains with copper. I think it would be great to make farms, roller coasters and much more!

Now I'll talk about minecarts with light.

My idea is to be able to craft something like minecarts with chests or hoppers, but with a torch, a lantern, or any glowing block that can move and illuminate the place until it goes away, just for a second. But instead of being inside the minecart, like the ones I mentioned earlier, I think this one would be more beautiful if it hangs from the side, the front or the back.

    GREAT IDEA! Always wanted to connect minecarts together, and I never thought of the light idea but I LOVE IT! Building railways in Minecraft is one of my fav things to do, and this would make that even better! This would be awesome Mojang!

    It’s a bloody brilliant idea. I wanted to suggest this as well and also wanted to craft them using copper and chains. The recipe could’ve been a copper ingot and a piece of chain placed side by side to creat the connector, then you craft the connector with a minecart side by side to create a connector minecart. You could also craft a dual connector minecart by placing a minecart in the middle of the crafting table and two connectors on each side. Then you place the cart on the tracks and connect them. It’s genius! Thank you for suggesting it!
