Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Skull-o-lanterns

Combine a skull and a soul torch to make a skull-o-lantern. Works with any mob head except for player heads. The eyes (and mouth if a skeleton) texture would flash on occasion with a "glow". It can still be worn and have an animated texture.

Skulls don't have much of a use so might as well make them a more fun cosmetic to mess around with.

    Oooh... it should emit light too! And if you use commands to give it an image URL it would still work, and would glow like normal (but it wouldn't look different).

    Awesome idea! Perhaps they could be crafted with either a torch or soul torch to make two different kinds: skull-o-lanterns, and blue skull-o-lanterns.

    I made a feed back post suggesting this as a feature where it would lure undead mobs to it's location
