A lot of people have suggested making Glow Squids give the player Night Vision when they go close to them. I personally think that's a little unfitting, so I came up with a different idea.
Glow Squids should instead of giving the player Night Vision, give them a new status effect similar to Dolphins Grace. It's like Night Vision, but only when the player is underwater. I feel it would make it a little more balanced, while also making Glow Squids a helpful motivation for underwater mining.
