I love the copper block and it’s attributes with the oxidation effect.
This presents an opportunity to add a silver block as an alternative color option but with the same block mechanics (except maybe for the lightning rod option).
It would be a shiny block with no borders and could be optained from the appropriate ore smeltered into ingots, etc.
When exposed to air, it would slowly shift from a shiny white to a glossy black, unless locked to it’s current state of decay, just like copper.
This would add a ton of new building options and possible designs.
I guess, silver tools could be a possibility as a new variety, but should have different properties, for which a lot of suggestions already exist.
