Add NBT crafting to the game

    Literally, Advancements AND Loot Tables both have NBT compatibility, why not crafting too!?!?

    (This would make EVERYTHING sooo much easier! They could even use it to make Brewing Recipes a thing, as well as using it for tipped arrows and stuff instead of using whatever extra coding they have in there!)

    Yes I made an OP sword and I dont know how to do the knowledge book system and I want a crafting recipie for it in survival so I can troll my friends and do it in survival, NBT  Crafting would make this so much easier for beginner datapack creators.

    This would add sophisticated crafting trees where crafting can acknowledge NBT tags in items for input and output items with NBT tags.

    Adding this would be so much more efficient instead of having alternatives like throwing entities on the ground or revoking advancements to return a modified item.

    The community has developed 4 different workarounds for this feature being missing, and none of them are good. Commandeering a special tileentity as a fake crafting bench, tossing items on the floor together, using an intermediary knowledgebook item, or go modded. All of them add significant overhead to the process that make it not feasable for near-vanilla servers to add custom items that can be crafted into other custom items, which seems to be at the heart of why one would want custom roleplay items.
