Veins without mineral

What if there are some ore-free veins? Yes, as you have read, veins without mineral; This would challenge the player to find a vein and when he thinks that it is a vein of some mineral (be it iron or copper) he is about to mine the entire vein but ooh surprise, there was no mineral in that vein, it would be interesting to find "dead" veins so it's not so "easy" to find one and get stacks and stacks of ore when found.

  Are you kidding me? This wouldn't challenge people, this would make them feel bad and probably abandon the game for a few days. This is not strategy, this is trolling the players. Besides, if you see a huge amount of Granite without any scattered ores, you 100% wouldn't even think it's an ore vein, because a lot of stone doesn't indicate ore veins.

  This isn't challenge, this is just not fair. You do not know if its real or fake, there's no meaningful gameplay value in it. It's just a troll.
