Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Using bone meal on mycelium should grow small mushrooms

Just like using bone meal on a grass block makes some flowers and grass grow, you should be able to use bone meal on mycelium to make a few small mushrooms grow; this would make mycelium a more useful and desirable block.

    It works on Crimson/Warped Nylium, so why not?

    I think this would be an appropriate late-game advancement to make farming of mushrooms easier for potion ingredients. I don't feel it should be biome restricted either, as the nether nylium isn't.
