Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

-Quartz wall should be smooth quartz texture
-Gold Bars should be fancy/ornate and Copper Industrial (think Pipes)
-We absolutely should have mossy variants of all Stone Blocks for a game that "takes place" in non-modern times.
-Slabs, Polished Variants and Walls should be a given at least, like the Granite types. Calcite and Tuff would be amazing, and allow spawn proofing of floors.
-None of these additions require new tools, items or mob drops or even a lore explanation.
-Less reliance on mods, which benefits Bedrock players AND Java players wanting more stuff to build with
-More options for builders and mapmakers, the backbone of the community.
-It makes sense. Perfect, perfect sense.
-Could inform and narrow down decisions and ideas for future additions, limiting feature creep.
-Stays true to Minecrafts philosophy of making do with what you have in a creative way while also giving more options for players.
-Convenience for redstoners, who can fashion components from their immediate surroundings.

Pressure plates, feature wise, would function like stone or wood ones, with a possible exception for copper, which could do something interesting.

I don't know if Quartz blocks should entirely count in the same category, seeing as you craft it using individual quartz crystals, and the blocks don't generated naturally.

@Lasercraft 32 I hadnt considered that aspect of quartz. I would LOVE quartz walls but ultimately I could live without them if it didnt make sense. Though I feel strongly about ensuring new additions to the game have parity with their smiliar counterparts, which is something that has been missing from many of these updates with certain blocks and items.

Quartz walls would be fine, I was mostly referring to the pressure plates, buttons, and cobbled, mossy, and cracked variants.
