Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

the battle axe

battle axes. everybody wants them! here is my idea of how they function.

How to craft: it's the axe recipe but with 5 materials of choice around the stick in the center.                       How it works:  it does one more attack than the matching sword, but can chop wood slightly faster than a matching axe.                                                                                                                                                    why?: come on! everyone (including me) wants battle axes in minecraft!

    they could be crafted using (iron, gold, or diamond, not wood or stone) in a helmet pattern above two copper ingots (replacing the sticks) The battle axe (a two sided axe) is like an axe, but has greater reach, greater damage, and a wider hit area like a sword. You do not get these buffs if you have an item in your other hand.

    There could also be longswords or greatswords (which would be swords with more damage and reach) They would be crafted using (also iron, gold or diamond) in a diagonal line with two copper nuggets and one copper ingot serving as the hilt (the a handle and guard) You do not get any bonuses over a normal sword if you have an item in your off-hand.

    Finally, there could be the scythe. (serves as a hoe with greater reach and sweeping attacks) They would be crafted with two (still iron, gold, or diamond) two bamboo (just like a hoe) and one stick. They would have sweeping attacks, like the sweeping edge enchantment on the sword, as well as the longest reach of any melee weapon, but deal no knockback. Like a hoe, they are fast and would all have an attack speed of 4 (iron/gold) and 5 (diamond/netherite) They have an attack dmg of 1 except netherite which does 1.5. They also harvest crops and destroy plant-life in their reach. You do not get any bonuses over a normal sword if you have an item in your off-hand.
