It would be great if you could use a nametag to add to an armour stand that opens a mission option. This could be something as simple as finding and taking out a mob spawner, a dozen zombies, building or repairing a structure, etc, in exchange for something as a reward.
I'm currently using armour stands with Steve heads and dyed leather armour to represent 'guards' in towns (and, yes, in a scrap they're as useful as a Villager). If you could interact with them using this idea it would add something to the game.
The responses based on the nametag would also add variety. Think a Disney Seven Dwarves name reflects personality approach. Also, if the nametag locked it to prevent players looting the things on the armour stand, that'd be real handy too.
PS: Fun facts for Dancing Armour Stand enthusiasts
For those who don't know, if you park a Redstone Lamp on top of a dancing armour stand and then put the armour stand on that, it still dances AND has a funky under-light effect.
If you add a pressure plate to activate it instead of a redstone torch, the armour stand will 'point' while you stand on it, dance once when you step off, and interrupt the dance to reset to 'point' if you step on the plate again. "Behold! The town! Now, Dance-off, bro!"
Try it with a boy band line up (the redstone is tricky and can provide coordinated, sped-up, or a jumble of dancers) and then beg Minecraft for an Alex head for some variety and equality. I'm not actually sure MC hasn't already added that one.
