Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Instant smelt enchantment

I was mining one day with my fortune pickax, and i mined some iron, and i only got one block, so then i thought it would be cool if there was an enchantment that smelted iron/gold right when you mined it. that way, fortune tools would work with gold/iron. the level 1 could mine at half the speed, level 2 would mine at three quarters the speed, and level 3 normal speed. if this was in the game, you also wouldn't have to waste your coal and could put it towards torches or something like that. i just thought that would be a cool idea. that's all for this suggestion.
