I like the idea. Phantom cave can be in the deep dark area. Or just add phantom to the deep dark to help Warden. Maybe Warden need some friend to attack high ground player :)

This doesn't solve the problem with phantoms, it makes it 10 times worse. How does a mob that flies like the Phantom even fit in the caves. It's not like bats, which basically just float and glide around, it uses Ender Dragon AI. Whenever I spawn them indoors in Creative, they just get stuck at the ceiling. Also, Nafis Kreatif, just WHY!? The Deep Dark is meant to be a challenge in the sense that you have to stealth, NOT FIGHT! Also how do the Phantoms relate to or fit with the Sculk in anyway? If they're going to spawn in caves, they'll need to completely change in every sense (Appearance, AI, mechanics, etc...). Why even bother doing all of that when most people hate the Phantom anyway? They said before that they are definitely going to consider looking into and probably changing the Phantom's mechanics, as right now it discourages exploration, forcing players to sleep and skip the night away if they don't want to be ridiculously spammed. If they just port it over to the caves, then it will discourage exploring the caves. It was never intended to be a cave mob, and it wasn't designed to live in caves or be related to them in any sense.

That is a valid point you make there Ziad El-Moursy. But Mojang and the whole Minecraft community want bigger, larger and more dangerous cave. I believe that these Phantoms Caves are going to be more challenging for players. You are right with the sizes of the Phantoms and how they behave in in-closed areas, however, an idea that arises from this problem is by having two types of phantoms. First type is your normal phantom we have now. And the second phantom are the cave phantoms, which maybe smaller and faster then the normal phantoms to fit within the caves. I do understand why there is an issue with this sort of idea, but i strongly believe these mobs need more recognition in the game.

Good idea but i have one problem.Phantoms don't fit into deep caves, instead of that Mojang could ad them in higher parts of the world

syed ali, I would agree with your ideas about that concept. Just NOT IN THE DEEP DARK LIKE SOMEONE SUGGESTED. It doesn't fit the theme at all, it has nothing to do with stealth, and it's not the type of challenging or horrifying that the Deep Dark is meant to have. The Deep Dark is meant to be very somber, deep-within-the-caves-and-mines in effect and overall design. It's very abstract, stealthy and soul-chilling, with all organisms (the Sculk) hiding there, moving sluggishly and relying on sensing movement due to lack of eyesight, clearly with a "sinister or cowardly" motive. The Phantom is a lot like Zombies and Skeletons, and undead being that just spams continuously at the player because they plainly hate him/her and like destruction. The Warden and Sculk clearly have a much deeper and way more horrifying motive behind all of the hostility.

I feel like phantoms don't fit too well in caves, but another hostile mob could work
