    I like this idea a lot. There is something that they could implement, although I'm not sure if it's too OP or not.  That smelting the raw iron blocks gives regular iron blocks. Maybe it could only be done in a blast furnace?

    This is very useful since with Fortune III we can expect x2.2 items from Gold, Iron, and Copper. Our inventories will fill up fast otherwise.

    I like this for storage usefulness but also maybe they could have cool "rough" metallic textures that are useful in building? That would be nice

    could add more reasons to mine even when u dont need the resource but instead the block

    also something in my head leans towards 2x2 recipe i cannot explain why though

    Punchwood 5786 i love that idea but i think it would be a little op considering you could use one ninth of the fuel

    I think it's great not only for better inventory storage: because of the textures of the raw ore itens, these blocks can look really cool as well.
