Playing with the recent bedrock betas with the caves & cliffs experimental in my old world is really laggy,but playing on new ones has a stable performance. I think it is because of the block loading of 64 layers of bedrock below y=0. So i think of a better solution to merge old chunks and new ones. By adding the new cave below y=0 in the old chunks. And replace all the bedrock generated between y=4 to y=0 to deepslate. This makes the air to be generated in instead of unbreakable solid blocks, making a more stable performance gameplay for us mobile players. Im on Android 10 btw.
