Copper-Infused Redstone Dust

This dust is just like Redstone Dust, except that it has far less resistance. This dust should not diminish power strength or just be x5 less resistant.
The way you craft it is, you need a copper ingot surrounded by redstone dust.

  What's the point of copper redstone dust if it's just less resistant.

  I think they mean it diminishes in power much less per block. Also it should be called ruststone dust
