Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

    Good idea, but maybe it should be done by dropping an anvil on the block instead of using a grindstone.

    I agree with the idea of doing this by dropping an anvil on the material.  As long as anvils aren't damaged by falling only one block (I thought they were, but they apparently aren't), then this can be readily automated without being unnecessarily expensive.

    This would be a great addition, this would make it so you don't have to find a giant desert biome for sand or use end portal sand dupers. I actually was going to suggest grinding sandstone to get sand in my own post, but saw yours.

    Another way of doing this could be dropping sand/gravel onto a grindstone.
