If your world is on PC/Java Minecraft.
If your friend is hosting a "L.A.N." (Local Area Network) world, it's hosted from their client/computing device, and when their client/computer "logs off", you get kicked because the connection from the host is being cut and that means you can't join the world until they re-establish a connection.

I am not much in a position for recommendations, but you may want to reach your parent/guardian about setting up a small server for you and your friend(s) to play on.

There are ways to port the world you are currently playing on into the server, but I suggest to get your parent/guardian to do that.

Thank you TurbulantFaun73 for your advice. I am just saying that Mojang should make it so that there are more than one owner of a world so that nobody had to go through the process of making a server etc. Thank you for your input though! I appreciate it!
