The Nether's underground is currently comprised of a few notable features and mechanics. While the Cave Update is advocating for Strategy and Exploration in Overworld Caves and Mining, the Nether is pretty stagnant. Mine a ton until you get enough Ancient Debris and Bounce. However, I have a solution. 2 New Resources in the Nether that would not only promote Strategy and Risk-Taking but would also spice up Nether Mining as a whole, Combustone and Galite.
Combustone - A resource that explodes immediately after being Mined, receiving a signal, or coming into contact with Galite. An explosion caused by Galite will be equivalent to that of a Charged Creeper. If it comes into contact with water, it will be deactivated, losing it's explosiveness but retaining it's magnetization.
Galite - A magnetic resource that is attracted to Ancient Debris and Combustone. If an Unmined Galite Ore comes into contact with a Newly exposed piece of Ancient Debris, the Galite Ore will transform into a piece of Ancient Debris. If Galite comes into contact with activated Combustone... there will be a giant explosion.
For all the Redstoners, this mechanic can be utilized for contraptions. Blocks of Netherite will have a stronger pull than Ancient Debris and Combustone. Additionally, Galite could have a few recipes such as upgraded Clocks and Compasses.
Anyway, that's the idea. Would introduce some Risk vs Reward to Nether Mining and interesting tools for Redstone Builders.
