It seems like having an unlimited amount of EXP is good enough to keep the game fun to play!
But
I was wondering if it would be better to add a mechanic (+achievement) called: "Experienced". Once you reach level 100 (or whatever level you think is high enough) and defeat the Ender Dragon, Wither, Guardian and survived a Raid, you should be able to combine some items (the Dragon's Head + Nether Star + *new* Guardian Drop + Totem of Undying) and receive this achievement of "Experienced".
This achievement would enable the player to enchant, repair, combine weapons without losing EXP at all. It would be optional to do since it would have to be crafted into a "Potion-style" item or something so not everyone gets this automatically.
How does it sound?
