BIG plus ones to this. I literally have to take days off of playing minecraft in between play sessions because my middle finger becomes swollen from continuously pressing W.

In WoW I have a mouse button bound and it makes playing games much less painful.

+1 for auto-run in general, but I would also love for this to work while boating again too!

We used to be able to "auto-run" while boating and it was glorious, but then it was stomped out like a bug and not appreciated for the beautiful feature it was. :(

One of my favorite activities is exploring oceans. Auto run would make this so much easier.

As an explorer type player, I deeply long for auto-run. There used to be a "bug" where you could kind of auto-run if you opened your inventory while moving forward in a boat and that was gd glorious. I did most of my exploring by boat during that time because it was so much more pleasant. Please give us auto-run!

No joke... my doctor says that I'm developing arthritis in my middle finger and the only thing I can think of that would cause it is pressing and holding on W in Minecraft... It's the only game I've played for years.

You can also set up macro's to auto walk. It will be exactly the same as holding down the W key on a keyboard. For logitech software you can select macro->toggle->record keystroke-press w-stop recording keystrokes->press the 2nd recorded input which is the release of the w key->press delete->save.
