re-spawn anchors should set your spawn.

why don't re-spawn anchors set your spawn location when you die?  

 

why have re-spawn anchors when they blow up and require so many rare materials to craft them?

    ??? They do set your spawn... In the nether, beds are used to set your spawn in the overworld while respawn anchors are used solely in the nether

    Beds are meant for the Overworld (Respawn-wise)

    Respawn Anchors are meant for The Nether
